Dr. Laura graduated with honours from the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2010, where she was presented with the Award in Oral Pathology upon graduation. Prior to starting her dental studies, Dr. Laura completed two bachelor’s degrees (science and nursing) at the University of Toronto and worked for a year as a registered nurse on a transplant unit in Toronto. She places strong emphasis on the reciprocal relationship between oral health and overall health, and she strives to empower all of her patients to make informed decisions about their dental health. Dr. Laura is gentle and caring, and she endeavours to make all her patients’ experiences as comfortable as possible. Dr. Thevahi is a general dentist committed to enhancing the oral health of her patients. Originally from Scarborough, she pursued her undergraduate degree in Health Studies at the University of Waterloo before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. Dr. Thevahi values getting to know her patients and providing them with the care they seek. She is passionate about creating a positive and comfortable environment and is certified to administer nitrous oxide sedation when necessary. Dr. Thevahi strives to educate her patients on improving their oral health and maintaining a healthy smile. Beyond her profession, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, and trying new food across the GTA.
